Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Freeman Webb Company. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of our physical plant, working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for our residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in a variety of maintenance projects.
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Handle carpentry work, painting, and other tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of the property.
• Assist with custodial work, groundskeeping, and emergency coverage as needed.
• Maintain stock control and ensure the proper utilization of maintenance materials.

Qualification Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of safety rules and procedures.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and perform physical tasks. Candidates should be comfortable with various physical demands such as climbing, kneeling, and lifting.

Work Environment

The work environment may involve exposure to outdoor conditions, electrical hazards, and moderate noise levels. Safety precautions are essential in this role.
