Manager Demand Planning

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Manager Demand Planning to join our team at Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS). As the Demand Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the demand planning and consensus forecasting process within our organization. By developing accurate demand forecasts, collaborating with various teams, optimizing inventory levels, and continuously improving processes, you will contribute to meeting customer requirements efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to gather information contributing to accurate demand forecasts.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance customer service goals with cost-efficiency.
• Analyze demand patterns and key drivers to identify potential risks.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and key performance indicators to assess planning strategies.
• Effectively communicate demand forecasts and changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Engage in Sales and Operations Planning meetings to align demand plans with business strategies.
• Continuously review and enhance demand planning processes to improve efficiency.
• Stay informed about market trends and external factors impacting demand for the company's products.
• Provide guidance, support, and foster a positive team culture.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field. Masters’ degree is a plus. At least 7 years of experience in demand planning and leadership roles.
