Job Title: Mental Health Skills Trainer - Psychiatric Security Review Board

Marion County Health and Human Services is seeking an experienced Mental Health Skills Trainer to join the Adult Behavioral Health's Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB) team. This part-time position involves working 33 hours per week at a supportive housing site, providing individual and group skills training, case management, and supervision to individuals with serious mental health challenges and co-occurring substance use disorders under the PSRB's jurisdiction.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide social and skills training following individualized service plans.
  • Monitor individuals for compliance with release orders and community safety.
  • Maintain PSRB supportive housing and conduct house meetings.
  • Document services and collaborate with a team of clinicians.

Requirements:

  • Three years of relevant experience in the behavioral health field or a related Bachelor's degree.
  • Current MHACBO Qualified Mental Health Associate certification or ability to register within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.
  • Knowledge of mental health concepts, community resources, and skills training techniques.
