Mobile Mechanic

Job Description

Alpha Transport Inc., one of the largest petroleum transporters in the Western United States, is seeking a skilled and reliable Truck and Trailer Mobile Mechanic to join our team. As a crucial member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing our equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Conduct major and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair air and electrical systems.
• Handle minor diesel engine repairs.
• Execute suspension, brake systems, and component repairs.
• Ensure tire maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Travel between markets as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must own tools.
• DOT certified.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Welding experience.
• CDL Class A driver's license.
