Salary: $52,000 - $56,000 per year

Location: Barre, Montpelier, Hartford, Springfield, and surrounding areas in Vermont

Work Location: Remote/On-Site Client Service Hybrid Position (Travel 6+ hours) Company vehicle provided

VTSS is seeking a Permanency Clinician to provide dynamic individual and family therapy to at-risk and adjudicated youth in the Central/Southeastern region of Vermont. The ideal candidate will offer short-term support and stabilization services, guiding clients and families in leveraging long-term community support and resources. This position requires post-training therapy experience, eligibility for licensure, and a background in working with traumatized children and/or adolescents. Responsibilities include individual and family therapy, case management, community integration, and active participation in team meetings. Permanency Clinician Duties:

  • Lead Clinical oversight on assigned cases
  • Provide individual and family therapy
  • Establish treatment goals and recommendations
  • Support Permanency Coordinator activities
  • Case management and clinical support
  • Help individuals and families overcome obstacles
  • Educate in effective parenting skills and more
  • Assessments, reports, and periodic reviews
  • Attend supervision and team meetings

Education Requirements:

  • Master's Degree preferred or Bachelor’s Degree with the ability to obtain rostering
  • Experience in human services

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with active car insurance
  • Completion of necessary checks
  • Participation in emergency services rotation
