Job Description

AHT Cooling System USA, a leader in refrigeration systems for the grocery and convenience industry, is seeking a motivated Quality Technician to join our Ladson production facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test incoming parts, sub-assemblies, in-process products, and finished goods for quality compliance.
  • Manage nonconforming material and make disposition decisions.
  • Administer the returns process, including performing inspections, testing, and maintaining the returns database.
  • Document and analyze quality data, reporting findings to relevant personnel.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Investigate and document customer quality concerns, communicating findings to key stakeholders.
  • Perform failure analysis on new and returned units or parts.
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment for reliable results.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in engineering technology or related field; minimum 4 to 6 years of experience as a quality assurance auditor/technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Inspection and Quality Control methods, techniques, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001/14001.
  • Ability to use measuring instruments, interpret product drawings, troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, and use tools like 8D, FMEA, and Process Writing.
  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
