Job Description
We are excited to offer a full-time position for a Radiology Technologist in our dynamic team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. You will adhere to radiation protection principles, maintain high clinical standards, and contribute to the patient and family-centered care philosophy of Corewell Health.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper verification procedures.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document medical records.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures and use age-appropriate methods.
- Effectively communicate with various departments and colleagues.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control policies.
- Provide patient education and procedural information.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in exam rooms.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must be registered with ARRT within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
