Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Oncology Infusion

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Ambulatory Oncology Infusion unit at Central Vermont Medical Center. As an Oncology Infusion RN, you will provide compassionate care to patients following the best practices outlined by the Oncology Nursing Society and Vermont Board of Nursing, while adhering to our hospital's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver optimal patient care in line with established guidelines.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge and professionalism.
• Work collaboratively with providers and staff members.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and respect.

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved Professional Nursing Education Program.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• Oncology Certified Nurse preferred; Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required.
• One to three years of hospital or office nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year ambulatory oncology infusion experience.
