Sr Merchandise Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Merchandise Handler to join Slumberland Furniture's dynamic team. As a crucial member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and distributing merchandise while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently move and organize merchandise to optimize storage space.
• Prepare merchandise for display, delivery, or shipment.
• Use the POS system to manage merchandise flow and maintain accurate records.
• Lead by example and provide training to other team members.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment following safety guidelines and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards completion).
• Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge required.
• Experience with POS systems is desirable.
