Position: Warehouse Team Member

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive pay starting at $17 per hour

Primary Objective & Scope of Position:
This position involves performing tasks related to merchandise movement, including storing, moving, and distributing products. The role also entails leading by example and providing training to other team members.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
Merchandise Movement:

• Ensure space efficiency by moving and consolidating merchandise within locations.
• Handle merchandise movements to and from the show floor, including display, rewrapping, and storage for delivery or pickup.
• Manage flow using the point of sale (POS) system and ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Handle incoming merchandise by unloading, identifying, inspecting, tagging, and receiving.
• Assist in outgoing merchandise by unpacking, inspecting, assembling, and ensuring proper wrapping for shipment.

Training: Lead by example and provide training to other employees.
Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and vendors. Ensure inventory accuracy, address discrepancies, and keep management informed.
Other Duties: Follow lean practices and undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Assist in grounds and building maintenance and provide lighting support.
Safety: Adhere to safety policies, practice safe behaviors, and comply with risk reduction procedures. Handle equipment and merchandise carefully to avoid damage, follow guidelines and manufacturers' specifications, and maintain a safe and organized facility.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (or in progress)
• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of tools, hardware components, and product assembly
• Valid driver's license
• Basic computer knowledge
• POS system knowledge is desirable
