Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Warehouse Team Members to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in the storage, movement, and distribution of merchandise while ensuring top-notch customer service.

Primary Objective & Scope of Position:

This position involves efficiently managing merchandise movement, providing some training to colleagues, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Move merchandise within locations for optimal space utilization.
• Transport merchandise to and from the show floor and handle packaging for storage or delivery.
• Utilize POS systems for inventory management.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Receive incoming merchandise and inspect, assemble, and package outgoing items.
• Provide training to fellow team members.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Assist in grounds and building maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards completion).
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of tools, hardware components, and product assembly.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.
