Job Description

Slumberland Furniture is currently seeking Warehouse Workers with Forklift Operations experience to join our team. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $17 per hour. If you are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want you to be part of our team.

Primary Objective & Scope of Position:

This position involves moving, storing, and distributing merchandise efficiently. Candidates will lead by example, provide training to colleagues, and contribute to maintaining a well-organized warehouse.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Efficiently move merchandise within locations to optimize space.
• Handle incoming and outgoing merchandise, including unpacking, inspecting, and preparing for various purposes.
• Use the point of sale system to manage inventory.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Train other employees and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Candidates should have a high school diploma or be actively pursuing one, basic math skills, knowledge of tools and hardware, and product assembly experience. A valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge are required, with point of sale system experience considered a plus.
