Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated RN Navigator specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant and Benign Hematology to join our team at MUSC. As a Benign Hematology Nurse Navigator, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support to patients and caregivers, helping them navigate the healthcare system and access quality care efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Review new patient referrals promptly and facilitate streamlined visits.
• Provide guidance for scheduling through the Patient Access Center.
• Support transitions of care between different healthcare services.
• Evaluate new patients, offer education, and identify those eligible for e-consult appointments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing with at least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop and implement educational programs effectively.
• Registered nurse in South Carolina or compact state, with current Basic Life Support certification.

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform various physical functions while maintaining patient care standards.
