Job Description
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join Middle River Aerostructure Systems in Baltimore, MD. As a key member of our team, you will drive quality for assigned suppliers, implement quality plans, conduct product and process reviews, and perform supplier audits to maintain compliance and drive improvement where necessary.
Responsibilities
- Drive quality for assigned suppliers and oversee quality plan implementation.
- Conduct product, process, and systemic quality reviews related to the product procurement process.
- Own supplier audits, ensure compliance, and lead improvement plans.
- Collaborate with sourcing organization to meet engineering requirements and ensure compliance.
- Conduct root cause and corrective action investigations in coordination with suppliers.
- Deliver results based on key metrics such as supplier first-time yield and process capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to lead small teams, coordinate multiple projects, and drive problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
