1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with team members and leadership to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide insights to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks in varying temperatures.
