Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a valued member of the warehouse staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient stock management and order fulfillment processes.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock with precision to fulfill store orders effectively.
- Organize and relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
- Load and unload merchandise for shipment, ensuring strategic placement.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to achieving warehouse goals.
- Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues, escalating when necessary.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently as per guidelines.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for accurate and timely task completion.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle up to 45 pounds of merchandise.
- Skilled in basic arithmetic and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Capability to work both independently and in a team environment.
