Job Description
JBI Helicopter Services, located in Abbeville, LA, is currently seeking an experienced Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to join our team. As a full-time year-round position, the role involves not only A&P responsibilities but also ground support duties across various company operations with possible travel requirements. The ideal candidate should be safety-conscious, organized, adaptable to changing needs, and committed to customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic License - REQUIRED
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 3 years of helicopter maintenance experience
- Flight line experience, including track and balance
- Ability to lift 70lbs and perform physical tasks
- Own tools and willingness to relocate within a 1-hour commute of Abbeville, LA
Preferred:
- IA experience
- Sheet Metal Experience
- Avionics Experience
- Experience with Bell Helicopter products (206B, 206-L, 407, 429, and MD 500)
- Factory Training
- CDL
