Job Description

Discover Financial Services is looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned Corporate Risk Management Problems, identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and collaborating with various teams to resolve issues efficiently. The role involves actively managing and escalating risk and customer-impacting issues to ensure timely resolutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle of assigned Problems and coordinate actions to resolve issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and coordinate actions for issue resolution.
  • Maintain inventory and track progress of problems in ServiceNow.
  • Identify and propose process improvements and mentor Service Support Specialists.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations, Project management, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • 1+ years of risk management or related experience, and people management experience.

Compensation

Base pay ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00, with additional incentives offered.
