Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned Corporate Risk Management Problems, identifying root causes, minimizing future impact, and documenting problem resolution actions. Collaboration with various teams is crucial to ensure the successful resolution of issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle of assigned Problems, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate actions for issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure timely problem resolution and maintain service level agreements.
  • Maintain a problem inventory in ServiceNow, propose process improvements, and mentor Service Support Specialists.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, or related fields.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations, Project Management, or related areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 1+ years of risk management or related experience, and 1+ years of people management.
