Job Description
Join our exceptional Sports Medicine Team and be part of the action on an exciting career path. As an Outreach Athletic Trainer, you will partner with external affiliate Athletic Directors, Coaches, Physicians, and internal Sports Medicine and clinic teammates to provide skilled care to affiliate athletes at the high school and collegiate levels. Your responsibilities will include comprehensive and coordinated care for athletes, injury assessment, and facilitating post-injury rehabilitation and return-to-sport. You will also independently manage the relationship with affiliates, maintaining effective communication and coordinating in-clinic rehabilitation transitions where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite comprehensive and coordinated care for athletes, including preventative interventions, injury assessment, and return-to-sport readiness.
- Assist and monitor the rehabilitation treatment plan specific to the athlete and injury.
- Independently manage the relationship with the affiliate, maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate in-clinic rehabilitation transitions with ATI's PT/OT services where applicable to facilitate safe and timely return to sport.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training, Master's Degree preferred.
- State licensure.
- Basic Life Support and AED Certification.
- BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC.
- Exceptional communication and coachability preferred.
