Chevron - Corrosion Rep

Job Description

Chevron is seeking a skilled Corrosion Representative to join the Central Area Operations team in Monahans, TX, focusing on Permian South operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a substantial Chemical and Corrosion program, supporting artificial lift technologies and new production optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and mentorship to Production Specialist Chemical.
• Troubleshoot and optimize chemical treatments at wells and facilities, collaborating with field ops and chemical vendors.
• Act as a primary liaison between Asset Integrity Chemical, CTC, tech team, and field ops for flow assurance.
• Develop and execute mitigative, specialty chemical jobs.
• Oversee multiple chemical vendors, ensuring service quality and adherence to KPIs.

Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.
• Proficiency in oil & gas production, corrosion mechanisms, and chemical program design.
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis, trend identification, and performance troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and across functional boundaries.
• Capability to contribute to projects and influence chemical treatment design and execution.
