We are looking for a dedicated Full Time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Capital District Veterinary Referral Hospital. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Emergency and Critical Care department, responsible for triaging patients, assisting in diagnostics and treatments, and utilizing advanced imaging techniques. Responsibilities

• Triaging incoming patients and managing client communication.
• Assisting veterinarians in patient assessment, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Performing laboratory procedures and handling samples for analysis.
• Utilizing imaging technologies for patient evaluation.
• Monitoring sedation and anesthesia procedures.

Requirements

• State of New York Veterinary Technician License.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Proficient in computer systems for managing patient records.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive pay range of $25 - $28 per hour based on experience.
