The Member Experience Specialist (MES) at VASA Fitness is responsible for creating and maintaining a fun and meaningful experience for all members and guests. This role involves greeting members in a friendly manner, ensuring problems are reported promptly, organizing equipment, and maintaining a clean environment. The MES team aims to create a positive first impression of VASA Fitness, sell memberships, drive upgrades, and provide tours of the gym.
- Demonstrate a genuine, kind attitude when interacting with guests and members.
- Greet guests and members warmly and provide accurate information and support through technology tools.
- Be familiar with membership plans, pricing, amenities, add-on options, and class formats.
- Conduct club tours following the Guest to Member Journey, sell memberships, help members upgrade, book personal training consultations, and sign members up for personal training.
- Consistently find ways to enhance the guest and member experience by sharing feedback with leadership and collaborating with the team to implement ideas.
- Execute daily responsibilities to VASA's high standards, including following check-in processes, completing cleaning and club walks, restocking merchandise, and processing sales.
- Competitive base rate of $15.00 per hour
- $2 - $4 commission eligibility for memberships and personal training sales
