Network and Systems Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Network and Systems Administrator to join our global IT team at Rand Technology, LLC. As a key member, you will be responsible for maintaining peak performance and security of our systems and networks, as well as implementing new technologies. Working closely with our CIO, you will play a crucial role in keeping our network infrastructure efficient, reliable, and secure across all our sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and secure network services and cyber security practices.
• Manage wired and wireless network services, hardware, and software supporting the infrastructure.
• Analyze reports, logs, and system changes to propose corrective actions.
• Develop and administer network operational procedures and standards.
• Stay updated on security threats, vulnerabilities, and malware prevention practices.
• Collaborate on incident response and technology emergency support.
• Research and propose new technologies to enhance customer experience.
• Available for responding to outages and security threats outside regular work shifts.

• Background in cybersecurity, networking, and servers with industry certifications preferred.
• Experience with firewall and network design, Azure Public cloud, vulnerability assessment, and more.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7-8 years of experience with firewall, network design, Azure, and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with network management tools and security protocols.
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
• Onsite presence required at Irvine Corporate HQ for 4 days a week.
