Job Description

We are seeking a talented Preferred Accounts Manager to join our team at Johns Manville Corp - Berkshire Hathaway. As a key member of the Preferred Accounts team, you will be responsible for managing business development, selling efforts, and account management activities for key clients in the roofing systems sector.

Responsibilities

  • Establish JM as an industry leader and trusted partner for clients.
  • Develop plans to acquire new long-term JM Preferred Account clients.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers in existing accounts to increase JM's market share.
  • Support JM sales team and certified contractors to enhance JM's position and preference.
  • Deliver superior customer satisfaction by providing enhanced services tailored to client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of roofing/construction industry experience.
  • Experience in business development, national account sales, and stakeholder relationship management.
  • Ability to analyze product lines, negotiate, and navigate complex selling situations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and operate remotely from a home office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with national/regional commercial building owners and specifiers.
  • Proficiency in advanced sales techniques and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing competitor products and industry associations.
