Process Engineering Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Process Engineering Manager to join Johns Manville Corp, a leading manufacturer in the insulation and commercial roofing industry, as part of the Berkshire Hathaway family. The Process Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing technical and engineering resources to align capabilities with production demand, develop next-generation products, and ensure consistent production quality and safety. This role involves overseeing process improvement initiatives, project management, and staff development while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering disciplines and lead process improvement projects.
• Estimate project timelines and deliverables, aligning them with business goals.
• Recruit, develop, and motivate staff to maintain technical capability.
• Work on technical projects, capacity analysis, and process simplifications.
• Conduct performance evaluations, pay reviews, and manage salary employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 10 years of industrial and technical management experience.
• Master's degree and Professional Engineer's license preferred.
• 10 years of experience in glass manufacturing processes and process improvement.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work in a continuous process environment.
• Experience with Six Sigma Lean TQM and budget management.
