Job Description
Join Boy Scouts of America as a Retail Store Manager in Jacksonville. Lead a team to drive sales, ensure profitability, manage operations, and strengthen relationships with the local Council. Run daily store functions, oversee inventory, and maintain visual merchandising standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee store operations and staff management.
- Lead Sales Associates to increase sales and enhance customer experience.
- Train and develop a knowledgeable staff.
- Schedule staff effectively to optimize store performance.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback.
- Manage store inventory and implement visual merchandising.
- Recruit and interview Sales staff.
- Communicate with Territory Sales Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 2+ years of retail management experience.
- 3+ years of retail sales experience.
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
- Flexible schedule availability.
- Knowledge of Scouting Program is a plus.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Basic financial report comprehension.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal and ethical behavior.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and a valid Driver's License.
Operating Hours:
- Monday: 9am - 6pm
- Tuesday - Friday: 9am - 5pm
- Saturday: 9am - 2pm
- Sunday: Closed
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $21.50
