Job Description

Join Boy Scouts of America as a Retail Store Manager in Jacksonville. Lead a team to drive sales, ensure profitability, manage operations, and strengthen relationships with the local Council. Run daily store functions, oversee inventory, and maintain visual merchandising standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee store operations and staff management.
  • Lead Sales Associates to increase sales and enhance customer experience.
  • Train and develop a knowledgeable staff.
  • Schedule staff effectively to optimize store performance.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback.
  • Manage store inventory and implement visual merchandising.
  • Recruit and interview Sales staff.
  • Communicate with Territory Sales Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of retail management experience.
  • 3+ years of retail sales experience.
  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
  • Flexible schedule availability.
  • Knowledge of Scouting Program is a plus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Basic financial report comprehension.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal and ethical behavior.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and a valid Driver's License.

Operating Hours:

  • Monday: 9am - 6pm
  • Tuesday - Friday: 9am - 5pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 2pm
  • Sunday: Closed

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.50
