Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners, where you will play a crucial role in securing funding from various sources. Reporting to the Senior Director, Development, you will be responsible for devising and implementing fundraising strategies by collaborating with program teams and engaging with potential funders. Your efforts will contribute to achieving organization-wide fundraising goals and advancing our mission of providing affordable housing and community development.

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in Enterprise's mission and programs to inform fundraising strategies.
• Collaborate with program staff to articulate programming and develop case statements for funders.
• Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders, and organize meetings and events.
• Write and submit proposals, reports, and letters of inquiry following funder guidelines.
• Create customized funder proposals, impact reports, and recognition opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and manage funder contact information.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising.
• Proven track record in securing significant gifts.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
