Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated PRN Social Worker to join our team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a PRN Social Worker, you will provide clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients and their families, addressing a range of common challenges such as adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, family relationships, and discharge planning.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical social work services to patients and families.
- Assess and address various psychosocial issues related to medical treatments, aging, and end-of-life care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop effective care plans.
- Offer counseling and support to patients and families facing difficult circumstances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Licensed Social Worker.
- LBSW, LMSW, or LGPC certification.
- Strong understanding of psychosocial assessments and clinical social work practices.
