Job Description
We are looking for a talented Banquet Chef to join our team at Essex Resort Holdings. As a Banquet Chef, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to our standard recipes, overseeing kitchen equipment care, and ensuring a seamless flow of operations between the kitchen and banquet areas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items under the supervision of the Executive Chef.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration in the kitchen and banquet kitchen.
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide training as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment.
- Assist in forecasting and planning for banquet functions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of culinary experience in a hotel or conference center.
- Prior experience in supervising a team.
- Knowledge of culinary departments and basic accounting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
