Job Description
GENESYS Health Alliance is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Anderson County Detention Center in Anderson, SC. As a Correctional Nurse, you will play a vital role in administering medical care to detainees and ensuring their well-being in a correctional setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer routine and emergency medical care to detainees.
- Treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
- Carry out nursing care plans as directed by medical providers.
- Ensure medication administration and documentation following healthcare policies.
Requirements
- Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance and pass background checks.
