Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Looking to join a dynamic team? We are currently seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician to take charge of our plant maintenance programs under the supervision of the Plant Manager. Your role is crucial in maintaining a safe working environment while optimizing plant performance and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues in manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain process hand tools and perform minor unscheduled maintenance on trucking equipment.
• Document performance, execute work orders, and provide guidance on industrial equipment use and repair.
• Undertake basic carpentry, and optionally masonry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and landscaping tasks.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of common mechanics tools.
• Preferably completed a 30-hour OSHA course and welding knowledge.
• Skilled in troubleshooting industrial systems and machinery maintenance.
• Experience in industrial equipment maintenance and managing multiple projects.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, CMMS, and basic computer applications.
• Physically fit to handle manual work and lift heavy objects.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with a high school diploma or GED.
