Job Description
Join Liberty Healthcare Management as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Liberty Commons of Lee County. This Part-Time Night position involves assisting in directing nursing services, delegating duties, monitoring patient condition, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in direction of nursing services for unit/hall, in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition for signs of change.
- Notify attending physician of emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurse and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctor's orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certified yearly.
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
