Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Type: Part Time, Nights (7pm - 7am)
At Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services, we have an opportunity for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring quality nursing care for patients while adhering to regulations and facility protocols. You will lead and supervise nursing assistants, administer medications, assist physicians, and maintain infection control measures. Additionally, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to provide the highest standard of care to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assure quality nursing care by following physician's orders, regulations, and facility policies.
- Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
- Administer medications as prescribed and according to protocols.
- Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
- Perform scheduled treatments and maintain infection control measures.
- Conduct research related to nursing care quality.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a valid RN license.
- Compliance with licensing renewal requirements.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients with a focus on geriatric nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
- Attend mandatory training and meetings.
- Supervisory skills to oversee nursing assistants effectively.
- Dependable, flexible, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong decision-making abilities and sound judgment in nursing practice.
