We are looking for a dedicated and skilled 3rd Shift Engineering Technician to join our Superior Dairy team at the Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA). As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing production and process equipment, ensuring smooth operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, be able to work independently, and communicate effectively with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machines using PLC code, primarily Rockwell / Allen Bradley.
• Utilize electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to diagnose machine issues.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for equipment repairs.
• Understand operators and supervisors' requirements to enhance existing systems.
• Support engineering projects during the third shift.
• Communicate maintenance issues to the daytime team.

Experience Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in PLC systems (2-5 years preferred).
