Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Assistant to join Bmore Technology in a part-time capacity. You will play a critical role in supporting our management team by handling various clerical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Assist in maintaining the General Ledger by posting journal entries and reconciling accounts.
  • Handle Data Entry and Documentation tasks by entering financial transactions, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
  • Contribute to Bank and Cash Management activities by reconciling statements and monitoring transactions.
  • Support Expense Management by reviewing and processing employee expense reports.
  • Assist in Financial Analysis tasks by preparing reports and compiling data for review.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, provide support during audits, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Manage Sales and Use Tax submissions and Vendor License Reconciliation processes.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Online.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma with bookkeeping coursework required.
  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
