Application Engineer - BPM

Job Description

We are looking for an Application Engineer specializing in Business Process Management (BPM) to join Discover Financial Services. As part of the Discover Network Fraud organization, you will work on designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based and on-prem solutions to meet fraud and transaction monitoring business needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and deploy new features with a focus on security and reliability.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers in achieving team goals.
• Guide design decisions and troubleshoot issues with proactive solutions.
• Contribute to technology communities and drive product enhancements.
• Experience in BPM administration, configuration, and support.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in BPM as per engineering scale.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Open Shift or Kubernetes platforms.
• BPM certifications and hands-on experience with IBM BAW.
• Expertise in BPM UI toolkit, process automation, and integration technologies.
• Skills in DevOps, build tools, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and complex SQL queries.
