Billing & A/R Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing & A/R Specialist to join OnPoint Medical Group. As a Billing & A/R Specialist, you will handle full revenue cycle duties, ensuring timely processing of claims, resolving payment discrepancies, and providing excellent customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable collections, including working with insurance companies and patients.
• Review and appeal unpaid or denied claims, ensuring accurate and efficient resolution.
• Maintain productivity by processing a minimum number of claims daily and keeping A/R current.
• Adhere to billing compliance guidelines and maintain strict privacy and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years of healthcare experience.
• Strong computer skills and at least 2 years of billing experience required.
• Preferred experience includes some college education, bilingual proficiency, and knowledge of EMR systems.
