Childcare Associate Teacher

Are you passionate about caring for, nurturing, and mentoring children? Keene Young Men's is seeking a Childcare Associate Teacher to join our team at the Keene Family YMCA. Under the supervision of the Lead Teacher and Director, the Associate Teacher is responsible for implementing the program curriculum, providing a quality experience to children and parents, and focusing on the YMCA core values.

Responsibilities

• Implements curriculum within guidelines.
• Designs and implements daily lesson/activity plans.
• Supervises children, classroom, and activities.
• Conducts ongoing child evaluations.
• Maintains positive relationships with parents.
• Attends family nights, staff meetings, and training.

Requirements

• Meets state education and experience qualifications.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Required certifications within 30 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of experience in a developmental setting preferred.
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
