Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join The University of Vermont Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide essential physical therapy services to patients of all health conditions, focusing on diagnosing, managing movement dysfunction, and enhancing physical abilities to improve overall quality of life. Collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in preventing and treating impairments, limitations, and disabilities resulting from various health issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction in patients.
• Enhance physical and functional abilities to promote improved quality of life.
• Collaborate with therapy and multidisciplinary teams to provide direct patient care.
• Educate and prepare patients, families, and caregivers for post-discharge care.
• Participate in consultative services within the organization and the community.
• Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement in patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science or higher degree from an Accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Vermont.
