Direct Support Lead

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Starting at $12.00 per hour
D&S Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are intensely focused on expanding access to services and delivering supports and services to individuals with a range of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in administrative duties such as staff hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals receiving services.
- Provide support to individuals receiving services, including assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care.
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six months of experience in human services preferred.
- Valid driver's license in good standing and vehicle insurance if providing transportation.
- All state-required training and certification completed in mandated timeframes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
