Labor Relations Manager

Job Description

NV Energy is seeking a dedicated Labor Relations Manager to join our team at Sierra Plaza in Reno, NV. As a key member of the Labor Relations department, you will lead the regional labor strategy development and implementation, fostering a culture of collaborative labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of labor strategy and policies.
• Participate in contract negotiations and grievance meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with unions, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in developing negotiation strategies for union contracts.
• Ensure compliance with legal and contractual labor requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 6 years of experience (or 10 years without a degree).
• Demonstrated knowledge of labor relations, HR practices, and employment laws.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in negotiation, advising, and coaching in a unionized environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual Salary: $100,700 to $118,400 with additional short-term incentive opportunities.
