Lead Field Superintendent - Large Multifamily Project

Job Description

Horizon Construction Group, a leading developer and constructor of multi-family housing, is seeking a dedicated Lead Field Superintendent for the new Bettendorf, Iowa project. As the LEAD FIELD SUPERINTENDENT , you will oversee all project field operations, coordinate subcontractors and materials, and ensure the timely completion of the project. This pivotal role requires a minimum of ten years' experience in construction, including large-scale multi-family residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all project field operations to ensure on-time completion.
• Supervise and lead on-site staff to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, communicate with the office, and maintain detailed reports.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure work environment.

Job Qualifications

• Ten years' experience in construction, particularly in multi-family residential projects.
• OSHA30 and First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Strong expertise in various construction facets and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make sound judgments.

Physical Demands

• Agile decision-making and physical stamina for demanding on-site work.
• Ability to operate office equipment, climb ladders, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Clear communication with team members, contractors, and clients.
• High stress tolerance and adaptability to long working hours.

Compensation

Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per year
