Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at VitalCore Health Strategies will deliver quality care within the scope of practice outlined by the local state nurse practice act for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses. Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care consistent with the scope of practice
• Provide monitoring of patients as directed by the HSA, DON, RN, or Medical Director
• Assist in the development and implementation of teaching plans based on individual patient needs
• Administer medications to offenders
• Other nursing duties as assigned by the facility

Requirements

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment
• Active CPR certification
• Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice
• Acute care experience preferred
