Job Description
Join Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services as a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) at Roxboro Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. In this full-time weekend position, you will play a key role in directing nursing services, monitoring patient conditions, and providing quality care to our residents. Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance.
- Observe and assess patients for symptoms and reactions.
- Notify attending physician of emergencies and implement changes in orders as necessary.
- Perform assigned duties effectively and in accordance with regulations.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid North Carolina Board of Nursing license.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- Ability to provide quality care, follow doctor's orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- CPR certification.
- Attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
