Manager - Facilities

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Manager of Facilities to oversee all aspects of facilities management at Friends of Youth. This role involves maintaining buildings, grounds, and equipment, supervising Facility Technicians, prioritizing work orders, and ensuring excellent customer service to employees. The ideal candidate will also assist in implementing preventative maintenance plans to support the organization's operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Survey agency sites to assess maintenance and repair needs.
• Hire, train, and supervise Facility Technicians.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various building systems.
• Manage the Facilities ticketing/request system and prioritize requests.
• Collaborate with program managers and the Director of Facilities.
• Coordinate repairs with vendors when necessary.
• Track and purchase materials for site maintenance.
• Participate in budget planning and expenditure monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in MS365 Power Platform.
