Job Description

The Outside Operations Staff provide critical service to our members and guests, being the first Club representatives to meet and greet them upon arrival. They assist PGA TOUR players, Members and guests with their golfing needs, ensuring that every step of their golf experience at the club runs as smoothly and is as enjoyable as possible.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Assist PGA TOUR players, Members and guests with their golfing needs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience
• Greet and welcome members and guests
• Assist in pulling all golf cars from the golf car facility to the bag staging area
• Remove golf bags from member’s and guest's car and load them on a golf cart. Where applicable, drive the golf car to the staging area
• Provide members and guests with necessary information for playing the course and ensure clean, well-stocked golf cars
• Drive golf cars into golf car facility and plug them into the battery charger
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the Golf Car Facility
• Perform periodic car maintenance and minor special repairs; update car service records
• Service the practice facility and ensure all club rules are followed by members and guests
• Assist members and guests as they depart from the facility and ensure that all golf clubs are cleaned and placed in their vehicles
• Other special projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Previous experience working in customer service, preferably in a country club or equivalent

Physical Demands and Working Environment

While this position is very active and requires lifting, pulling or pushing up to or over 25 pounds, the employee will be exposed to a variety of outdoor weather conditions. Specific vision abilities are required and the ability to comply with all applicable safety and health regulations is essential.
