Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in utilizing reliability equipment to predict and prevent machine failures, thereby minimizing downtime and optimizing maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Review and analyze gathered data to predict pending failures.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
• Submit work orders and collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, oil, and grease.
• Recommend immediate repairs for equipment showing noticeable issues to prevent catastrophic failure.
• Collect oil samples for lab test analysis and provide support to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Attend maintenance meetings and contribute to improving equipment reliability and lifespan.
• Stay current with predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance OR minimum of 5 years' experience in reliability technology.
• Military experience will be considered.
• PDM certifications are a plus or willingness to obtain them.
• Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
