Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are hiring a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at TOYOTI1. As a technician, you will play a critical role in analyzing machine data to predict and prevent potential failures, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Utilize cutting-edge reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failures proactively.
• Review and analyze data to predict impending issues and take preventive actions.
• Utilize advanced technologies such as infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic for daily data collection.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect and address air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Recommend immediate repairs to prevent catastrophic failures.
• Collect oil samples for lab analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Support plant operations to minimize unplanned downtime due to machine failures.
• Continuously improve reliability programs and equipment lifespan.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5+ years of experience in reliability technology.
• PDM certifications are a plus, or willingness to obtain them.
• Expertise in root cause failure analysis and working independently or in a team environment.
