Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join TOYOTI1 on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in using reliability equipment to anticipate and prevent machine failures, minimizing downtime effectively. You will be responsible for analyzing data, detecting potential issues, and recommending necessary repairs to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Predict pending failures by reviewing and analyzing gathered data.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Recommend immediate repairs to avoid catastrophic failures.
• Collect oil samples for lab test analysis.
• Provide support to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings.
• Initiate plans to enhance equipment lifespan.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5+ years of experience in reliability technology.
• Understanding of root cause failure analysis.
• Willingness to complete necessary training.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
